Eugene also provides us with a review of two books edited by late the Tom Christensen focusing on Spiral Dynamics, published by Integral Publishers in 2015. Mary Michaud reviews Going Horizontal: Creating a Non-Hierarchical Organization, One Practice at a Time, a genuine invitation to common purpose through non-hierarchical practice, simple rules, and self-reflection. Courtney Feider and Laura Johnson offer us Leadership Coaching Tips. Courtney discusses her experience with the leadership circle, while Laura provides a great tip on the many layers of listening. Finally, the leadership quote from Brené Brown’s new book, Dare to Lead, speaks to us at ILR: “learning to rise so we can reclaim authorship of our own stories and lives in the revolution. Courage is the rebellion.”
